Oswald Shilo

I'm Oswald Shilo — a Computer Science student at Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai.
Right now, I'm mostly figuring things out one project, one bad deployment, and one caffeine-fueled night at a time. I know I'm probably end up building things for a living — engineering just makes too much sense to me — but I'm still exploring what that actually looks like long term. For now, I'm focused on getting genuinely good at programming, systems, backend architecture, and problem solving instead of blindly depending on whatever the current AI trend is. If AI ever hits a slowdown, I still want to be the person who understands what is happening underneath the abstraction layer. Most days, I'm either building APIs, trying out mobile apps, experimenting with AI tools, or pretending my side projects are “almost production ready.” I like hackathons, fast execution, and people who ship things instead of talking about shipping things. Outside tech, I speak some German :)
